Shielded Metal Arc Welding NC I
GOALS:
To establish a program in Shielded Metal Arc Welding NC I that leads in the development of qualified trainees through the application of different techniques and provide pre/post services to clients to prepare them for SMAW NC II and meet industry requirements and standards related to Shielded Metal Arc Welding NC I.
OBJECTIVES:
At the end of the course, learners should be able to:
To increase the number of enrolled, assessed, and certified by 5% annually?
To establish more linkages with small and medium enterprises, LGUs and NGOs, entrepreneurship programs by 5% per year.
To strengthen the monitoring of Shielded Metal Arc Welding NC I graduates by achieving a 5% increase in the number of employed graduates.
To continuously adapt practices for greening the environment by implementing one activity per year.
Shielded Metal Arc Welding NC I
The Welding NC I (SMAW) Qualification consists of competencies that a person must achieve to weld carbon steel plates components as specified by layout, blueprints, diagrams, work order, welding procedure or oral instructions using SMAW welding equipment.
